Opportunities for participants: vouchers and Open Access publications
On the occasion of the SBI Congress 2026, Plant Biosystems, in collaboration with Springer Nature, offers significant opportunities to support research and the dissemination of scientific findings.

• Four vouchers, each worth 300 euros, will be awarded to the best doctoral theses selected. The winners may use the voucher to purchase eBooks from the Springer Nature catalogue, thus gaining access to a wide range of high‑level scientific resources.
• Moreover, the four best oral presentations will have the chance to be further promoted through the publication of an article in free access (free‑per‑view) in the journal Plant Biosystems. This is a prestigious opportunity to achieve maximum international visibility for the work, with publication in extenso.

IMPORTANT: speakers interested in applying for this opportunity must indicate their interest already at the time of abstract submission, by selecting the appropriate option. It will also be necessary to complete and sign the Declaration of Consent signed by all co‑authors and to send it by email to sbi@unifi.it.

The selection committee for the vouchers and for the “free‑per‑view” articles is composed of the SBI Executive Board and the Editor‑in‑Chief of Plant Biosystems.
